Elche hospital leads way on Parkinsons research

The General Hospital in Elche has opened its doors to a new study service, which is investigating the treatment of those suffering from Parkinsons Disease.

The new study, called COPPADIS-2015 (COhort of Patients with PArkinson’s DIsease in Spain, 2015) will look into the causes and treatment of the degenerative disease.

The study will run for 5 years, working with around 800 patients.
