Ad billboards to be pulled down

The Cabildo in Tenerife has announced that works will begin this week to dismantle billboards close to roads across the island.

The removals are being implemented in the interests of road safety, island image and environmental concerns.

€150,000 will be spent removing the billboards, from over 80 sites on the island.
