Local police most expensive public service in Santa Cruz

The cost of local Police in the capital of Tenerife has been revelaed to cost the most out of all the cities public services.

57% of the budget for 2014 was spent on policing the city, costing over 27 million euros. Water cost 25 million and social services 15 million.

Per person, the police service in the city costs just over €600.
