Man dies on new stretch of TF-1 motorway

A 69-year-old man has died on the new stretch of the TF-1 motorway in Santiago del Teide.

The death is the first on the new stretch of road since it fully opened at the end of last year.

Emergency services attended the site of the accident, however the driver was declared dead at the scene. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the smash.
