Update on Lanzarote beach closures

The plague of jellyfish that has been affecting the coast of Lanzarote for the last few days is today forcing the closure of the ‘El Reducto’ beach in Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote. Bathing on this beach has been prohibited and a reed flag has been raised to warn swimmers of this. In contrast, the beaches that were closed earlier in the week in the municipality of Tias have been reopened.
