19 Illegal immigrants arrive on La Graciosa

Security forces have so far arrested 16 of the 19 occupants of a boat that was detected in the early hours yesterday (Monday 3rd October 2011) morning after it arrived in La Graciosa, including three minors. The search for the other occupants is ongoing. Those thought to be missing are two minors and an adult. Those on board are said to be of Maghreb origin and all are male. They were spotted by residents of La Graciosa as they arrived on the La Caletilla beach and made there way to Caleta de Sebo. They are all said to be in good health.
