First E.Coli case detected in the Canary Islands
A German citizen has been admitted in Tenerife due to the outbreak of the bacterium E.coli which she is thought to have caught in Germany. This is the first case of this disease detected in the Canary Islands which has left 22 people dead in the Germanic countries and infected thousands worldwide. Canary Islands health authorities have said there is no risk. According to sources, the patient has already been discharged.
