AENA guarantees minimum services during airport strikes

The regional Director of AENA in the Canary Islands, Juan José Álvarez Gallego, has said that during the upcoming airport strikes (see story here) there will be minimum guaranteed services during the planned strike and that disruption will be kept to a minimum. While he has defended the right to publicise the strike he has been critical of the negative comments. The President of the CEOE in Tenerife and Deputy Minister of Tourism, José Carlos Francisco, stressed that the “mere fact” of the publicity has hurt the Canary Islands and best thing would be to call it off.
