Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2011 Carnaval programme

The carnival in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is to commence later this week. The schedule has been released and can be found here.

The first event is on the 15th February 2011 at Parque La Catalina with the traditional ‘murgas’ contest.

The carnival queen gala is to be held on 25th February at Parque La Catalina at 9PM.

The carnival drag queen contest will be held on 4rh March 2011 also at Parque La Catalina.

The event ends on the 12th March 2011 with the traditional burial of the sardine.
