Murgas Contest in Puerto de La Cruz, Tenerife

Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife warms up for the festivities of the forthcoming Carnival with the Contest of Murgas del Norte (Carnival’s clowns choir). 14 murgas and 7 groups for children will participate in this year’s competition. This is going to be the eighteenth edition and the first one to include a children murgas contest. it will be held on January, 31 and February 1, 2, 3 and 6 2010 at the Explanada del Muelle Pesquero in Puerto de la Cruz.
