Canarians ‘not interested’ in low energy lightbulbs

It seems that the Canarians are not interested in the offer from the government when it comes to replacing regular light bulbs with the new type of energy efficient bulbs. Only 15% of the population has been to pick up their free low energy bulbs from the Post Office (Correos) which means that there are €1.800.000 worth of bulbs sat in post offices around the Canaries. Over 686.000 bulbs were sent to the Canaries, yes only 102.700 have been picked up.
