Coach driver faces drink driving charges

A coach driver in Tenerife faces prosecution for drink driving, whilst having passengers on his coach.

Passengers on-board called emergency services to report the driver being over the limit, whilst en-route between Santa Cruz and Chio.

The coach was pulled over near to Los Cristianos, where the driver was breathalysed, and found to be twice over the drink drive limit.

The driver was removed from the coach, and has been summoned to appear before the courts in Arona.
