Unemployment figures continue to fall

Spanish unemployment figures fell in March with nearly 60,000 fewer jobless claims compared to February.

The Easter holiday is being credited as the main reason for the drop, with many seasonal jobs being created for the season.

Figures released also show the number of jobs being created rising by over 130,000, meaning that 17.3 million people are now in work.

Unemployment figures however still stand at just over 4 million unemployed, and concerns about the ongoing political stalemate is being blamed as a cause for a possible slow down in job creation heading towards the summer.
