Outcry over non prosecution of man sitting on infant donkey

There has been public outcry after a man was told he will not face animal cruelty charges after an incident with a donkey at Christmas.

A man in the town of Lucena, Cordoba was spotted sitting on an infant donkey, and then kicking another one, both were part of the towns Christmas display.

Due to injuries sustained by the animal that was kicked, it died a few days later.

Now animal charities are launching an appeal, to return the man, and the local council, to court on additional charges, after the initial case was thrown out.
