Weather warning in place for Canaries

A weather warning is in place across the Canary Islands, for high winds, waves and a drop in temperatures.

Aemet is warning people to be extra cautious on coastal areas for the first half of the week, and to avoid bathing in the sea.

75km/jh winds and 5 metre waves are being forecast over the next few days, the warnings are set to affect all seven Canary Islands.
