Roads reopen after bad weather

Roads across the Canaries have finally started to be reopened after record amounts of snow fell across the archipelagos mountain ranges.

In Tenerife, Mount Teide remained closed, however routes lower down have started to reopen.

Records were broken last week when the bad weather swept over the islands, with some of the lowest recorded temperatures being seen.
