Violent gang arrested

A gang believed to be behind a spate of violent robberies in Lanzarote are behind bars following an operation by Guardia Civil.

Four men and one woman, aged between 36 and 60, were detained after the brutal attack on occupants of a villa in San Bartolomé in Lanzarote on 18th January.

The five were identified, and raids were carried out on numerous properties across Tenerife.

Four of the gang have been remanded in custody, whilst awaiting trial.
