Foreign population rises in the Canaries

A total of 305.661 foreigners live in the Canary Islands. This represents a 14.5% of the total population (registered) is 2.114.828 people, an increase of 10.936 over the last year (0,5% rise). The amount of foreigners also increased by 4.457 people, an increase of 1.5%. Nationally, Spains population stands at 46.951.532 an increase of 205.725 when compared to 2009.
