Unemployment reaches 27.6% in the Canaries

Unemployment is due to reach 27.68% (over 300.000 people) in the Canary Islands, the highest figure in Spain. These figures have been published in the ABC newpaper after the INE published them by mistake on their website for a short period of time. The official figures are due to be released on Friday (30th April). These figures, if confirmed, will certify that the Canaries is at the top of the unemployment table in Spain.
