In Santa Cruz, the Rambla de Pulido is not likely to be fully
open to traffic until September. This follows damage caused to a building during the bad
weather which caused the recent disaster in the capital. According to a recent technical report submitted by an
architect, repair works have been severely delayed
by the fact that some residents have failed to permit
technical inspections to be made in their homes.
Apparently, the Ayuntamiento
is to issue an order for these inspections to be made within
the next few days. Rambla
de Pulido is technically open, but restricted to light vehicles
only, which will not interfere with the repair works.
