The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has today announced that during the month of February (2012) it is expecting over more than 87,000 visitors who will arrive in 29 cruise ships which will be calling at the capital of Tenerifes harbour. Of the total amount, 67,670 will be tourists and 19,745 people will be the cruise ships crew. The ships expected are “Independence of the Seas, Oceana, Mein Schiff1, MSC Fantasia and Costa Serena, in addition to Thomson Destiny, AidaSol and La Belle de l’Adriatique”. The report has also highlighted that specifically, on Sunday the 26th February, in one day alone, the capital will see the arrival of 7,000 people.
