Slight drop in unemployment in Canary Islands

Unemployment dropped by 1.25% in the Canary Islands during the month of July. Nationally unemployment fell by 1.85 (a total of 73.790 people) for the 4th month in a row, to a level of 3.908.578 people out of work in Spain. Currently there are 262.661 people unemployed in the Canaries, a figure which represents an increase of 6.66% on last years figures (16.397 more people out of work).
