British Pound Exchange RateJet2.com has announced that it will offer 24 weekly flights between the Canaries and the UK of which 15 will fly to Tenerife, 7 to Lanzarote and 2 to Gran Canaria. In total it offers 184.000 seats per year, an increase of 60.000 on figures from 2008. Of the 184.000 tourists flying with Jet2.com, around 5.000 visit Tenerife every week. The flights operate from 7 British airports. Jet2holidays.com has also announced agreements with 40 hotels in the south of Tenerife.
