The Canary Islands have recorded the wettest February for over 30 years after the continuous bad weather the islands received during the month this year. 350 litres per square metre were recorded in La Palma, El Hierro, La Gomera, Tenerife and Lanzarote in one month, when the normal values are around 120 litres per suqre meter. In Anaga, Tenerife there were 82 litres per suqare metre recorded in under 2 hours.
